How To Listen To SiaNet Radio
If you have a fairly recent version of JAVA, you can use our pop-up player by
clicking HERE.
You must keep that window open in order for
you to hear the music. You will be prompted
to accept a certificate. This is normal for
java, and the certificate means that the application
is safe to use. In other words, just say yes,
and it won't hurt your computer in any way.
If you do not have recent Java, but you do have
one of these players, or download one of these, click HERE,
or place http://raptor.mediacast1.com:9328/sianet.ogg into your
"add URL" selection of your player
Windows: Winamp
5
(or later, and select the largest
free version)
Linux: xmms
Macintosh: WhamB
SiaNet Radio uses Ogg/Vorbis to stream our station. This allows us to
sound better than a typical mp3 stream, and use
less bandwidth in the process. Ogg/Vorbis
is an open-source format.
